Da Incredible Interns!

We are blessed this summer to have an awesome crop of Ma Ka Hana Ka ʻIke Interns and wanted to share our bounty with you all. These fine young adults are hard-working, detail-oriented, quick-learners, and most of all enjoy each others company and the fishpond immensely. We are truly lucky to work with them this summer.

Here’s a little bit of info on each of our gang:

Kaulana Nakoa-Kawahakui, of Waialua, attends UH-Hilo and enjoys learning about Hawaiian culture and practicing the traditional ways of life and sustainability.

Taylor Purvis, of Kailua, Oʻahu, is a recent graduate of UH-Mānoa and is ipassionate about taking care of the land and sea for the future generations.

Tenwin “Tiny” Eram, of Kahaluʻu, attends Castle Highschool and is passionate about helping out his community.

Sheldon Rosa, of Ahuimanu, is a recent graduate of Kamehameha-Kapālama and is passionate about learning Hawaiian culture and inspiring others to learn too.
