Coming soon to a fishpond near you……
KEIKI NIGHT @ Heʻeia Fishpond Thursday March 13th 5-7pm
Join us on Thursday March 13th for an evening of moʻolelo (stories) and hana noʻeau (arts/crafts) tailored specifically for our keiki to celebrate the storied landscape of Heʻeia. Stories you can look forward to will be about the kiaʻi of Heʻeia Fishpond, Akua who frequent Heʻeia, and of course some wahi pana so more people know how our hills/mountains/valleys got their names.
The activities will start at 5pm and end around 7pm to make sure everyone has enough time to go home and brush teeth before bed. Speaking of brushing teeth, we will be serving light refreshments but not a full blown meal so please plan accordingly.
RSVPʻs are required, please! Call our office at 236-6178 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up! And feel free to share the flyer below.
This event is a part of our ongoing Maliʻu a Liʻu Program which is generously sponsored by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. Be on the look out for our next hands-on workshop in April: Hale Building!
