2020 La Holoholo Information

You’ve been waiting for it….its finally here!!!

All the information you need to know about our 2020 Lā Holoholo – Family Fishing Days is finally available. This year we will host our Lā Holoholo one Satuday per month at Heʻeia Fishpond between May and September.  These are days when we invite the public to come and help us fish out the carnivorous fish (papio, barracuda, toau, tilapia) from our fishpond to give the herbivorous fish (ʻamaʻama, awa, pualu) a better chance at survival.

While this activity helps us manage the fishpond for the kind of fish we want (herbivores), it’s also an awesome daytime event where you can enjoy the beauty and safety of Heʻeia Fishpond while going holoholo with family and friends. Its a win all the way around.

The dates for our Lā Holoholo 2020 are as follows:

• Saturday May 16th
• Saturday June 20th
• Saturday July 18th
• Saturday August 15th
• Saturday September 12th

We do signups for one or two Lā Holoholo at a time and Wednesday April 15th at 4pm will be the first of the signup days. Follow our information on social media for quick updates.
