MLK Jr. Day 2018

Wanted to send a big big mahalo to Kaiser Permanente Hawaii and Hawaii Permanente Medical Group for choosing to spend their Martin Luther King Jr. Day volunteering at Heʻeia fishpond along with other sites around Hawaiʻi. While we received about 120 volunteers, they expected almost 1,000 volunteers to help out across our paeʻāina on this day. Mahalo mahalo mahalo to everyone and especially the support crew who made sure everyone was hydrated, fed, and safe. We are so thankful for the 6 years that this MLK Jr. Annual Day of Service has occurred at Heʻeia fishpond and we look forward to many more. Mahalo no ke kakoʻo mau a mau!!
