2017 is here and we are ready for some holoholo action! This year we are doing sign ups for Lā Holoholo in 2 month increments. That means we will release and fill spots for the February and March fishing days at the same time (January 18th at 4pm). Then, in March, we will release and fill spots for April and May at a date and time TBD. And so on and so forth. You donʻt have to sign up for both days, just sign up for one if want. We are trying to share the love among many families who want to join us, so please donʻt be greedy. Got it? Good. Donʻt be discouraged if you donʻt make it into one day, there will be many opportunities throughout the year.
Here are the specific details:
- Dates: Saturday February 11th and March 11th (it was Feb 25th but we had to change it! Sorry)
- Time: 8:30am to 2:30pm
- Where: Heʻeia Fishpond
- $10 per pole (you provide the pole, can bring more than one) *no nets or traps*
- When: Registration begins PROMPTLY at 4pm on January 18th
- How: Follow the links below to register for a particular fishing day. Each day has a maximum and it will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. If a day fills up and you still want to go, follow the instructions to be put on the wait list. If a spot opens up, it will be filled in the order of names on the wait list.
There is more information on the actual registration page. If you have any questions please email admin@paepaeoheeia.org or call our office at 236-6178. But it should be pretty simple. Remember, registration starts PROMPTLY AT 4:00PM WEDNESDAY JANUARY 18TH.
Mahalo nui for supporting Paepae o Heʻeia, Heʻeia Fishpond and our collective efforts to bring life back to this special place.
